Our Organization
The mission of the Children's Crisis Prevention Network is the prevention of drug abuse and other self-defeating behaviors
by all children, especially those from families affected by substance abuse, through education, intervention and other support
services.

Our Purpose
The purpose of the Children's Crisis Prevention Network corresponds with our mission,
which is to provide a coordinated, positive approach to education, prevention and intervention regarding substance abuse.
The individuals we serve are as diverse as the families and communities in which they live, but they all have common needs.

Our Qualifications
The Children's Crisis Prevention Network dba Dogs Against Drugs is registered with: · The Texas Department of Public Safety and · The United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
We have been licensed by: · The Texas Commission on Private Security since 1986. · All canine
handlers are also licensed individually.
These credentials are necessary to possess controlled substances for the
training and maintenance of narcotic detection canines.
We hold membership in good standing in the National Narcotics Detection Dog Association (NNDDA) since 1984. All detection teams must pass annual NNDDA Certification.
We are certified by the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (TCADA) as a Continuing Education Provider.
· All education presenters must have an initial 40 hours of
substance abuse prevention training; · All employees must have a minimum of 15 hours of substance abuse prevention training
every year; · All employees must demonstrate integrity and ethical principles in all their interactions within and without
the organization.
Our Director holds the following licenses and certifications: · Licensed Chemical Dependency
Counselor since 1990; · Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling Fellow II · Certified Prevention Specialist.
To protect those we serve and those who provide services, we have: · Comprehensive Liability Insurance; · A
broad Accident Policy to protect employees twenty-four hours a day
